Opinions are cheap, but only facts can save us
Forget about asking your DENTISTS whether mercury dental fillings are safe. All that they are going to tell you have already been told to 16 Judges in Courts of USA.
The BEST defense team from the American Dental Association (ADA) had FAILED to prove the safety of amalgam in 16 courts with all their brilliant arguments. They failed badly because there was NO Science to support what they said. To date there is NOT a single research paper to prove amalgam’s safety.
On the other hand, America’s top Mercury Scientists converged in courts with more than 2000 research papers proving the dangers of amalgam.
By 2004, 16 American States have dental laws changed to protect the public from harmful dental procedures. The other 36 States have to go to court to fight their own dental associations. It may take 30 years or more for the whole USA to be free from amalgam. Malaysian dental laws may take 50 years or more to be changed.
One popular statement by the ADA is: “Since amalgam has been in use for over 150 years, it has been proven to be a safe dental filling material”. This statement was thrown out of court because it is NOT a scientific proof of amalgam’s safety.
Their other argument is, “Only a handful of people are allergic to amalgam.” How did the ADA conclude that when no research was done? Allergy is a result of mercury attacking the immune system with mercury residing in the white blood cells (WBC).
There are guidelines for the safe handling of amalgam , to prevent exposure of mercury to dental personnel including dentists.
There are also guidelines for the safe disposal of amalgam scraps & extracted teeth (amalgam-filled) to prevent the contamination of mercury to our environment.
Mercury from a single tooth filling is enough to pollute a whole lake.
THE PARADOX IS: Why is our mouth the only safe place to store amalgam?
Dental clinics in 31 States, must install Amalgam Separators (mercury-filters) by law to prevent more mercury polluting 650,000 river miles & lakes. Mercury in fishes can poison humans eating them. If caught without Amalgam Separators, American dentists can be fined up to USD 2000 per day.
HOW CAN SOMETHING THAT CAN POLLUTE OUR ENVIRONMENT BE CONSIDERED SAFE FOR OUR INTERNAL BODY ENVIRONMENT?
Dentists assume that dentistry has scientific backing & are unaware that they’ve been unfairly dragged in to support business politics.
